DESCRIPTION OF THE PORT: The jetty is at the southeast of Nemrut Bay. The distance to Ýzmir is 60 kms.Ege Gubre’s activities are to supply chemicals fertilizers needed by the agricultural sector, either by production or import.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: Information on best location of anchorage will be given by Pilot station
PILOTAGE: : is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the ports provided by the Uzmar Pilot VHF channels 16, 10 three hours before arrival at the bay. Pilot embarkation place 38 46,8 N 026 54,4 E
TOWAGE: is provided by the Uzmar Pilot round the clock
BERTH: Berthing side north 124 m., draft 13m (max. 50.000dwt). Berthing side south 103.5 m. draft 10m.( max. 7.000 dwt) Apron width 5.60 m

CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENT: Shore crane Grabs/Hoppers and Conveyors For Bulk Urea 15 T. There are two weighbridge of 80 tons.
STORAGE AREA: Grain silos 4x 5.000 ton. Open area 13.500 sq.m. covered area 2.446 sq.m. semi-covered area 8.1132 sq.m. The car park of 1.100 sq.m.
FRESH WATER: available.
BUNKER: available by barge only.
AIRPORT: At Izmir distance apprx.71 km from the port.
WORKING HOURS: operates 24 hours a day year round. (weather permitting)
GARBAGE REMOVAL: service is available by barge.
WASTE OIL DISPOSAL: service is not available.

MAIN ACTIVITY: Private jetty for loading/discharging iron scrap/iron products of Ironworks in the site.

PILOTAGE: : is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the ports provided by the Uzmar Pilot VHF channels 16, 10 three hours before arrival at the bay. Pilot embarkation place 38 46,8 N 026 54,4 E
TOWAGE: is provided by the Uzmar Pilot round the clock
BERTHING: The jetty is well fendered. Mooring is assisted with the aid of lifeboat.
CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENT: Mostly by vessels’ own gear. There are mobile cranes facilities.
CARGO HANDLING RATES: very fast operations, Scrap metal 3.000-5.000 mt/day
FRESH WATER: available at pier and by barge.
BUNKER: available by barge only.
AIRPORT: At Izmir distance apprx. 74 km from the port.
WORKING HOURS: operates 24 hours a day year round,
GARBAGE REMOVAL: service is available by barge.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The vessel must sail within 2 hours of the completion oof the final draft survey, otherwise the ship will be charged with a further day’s port dues.
