DESCRIPTION OF THE PORT: The jetty is at the southeast of Nemrut Bay. The distance to Ýzmir is 60 kms.Ege Gubre’s activities are to supply chemicals fertilizers needed by the agricultural sector, either by production or import.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: Information on best location of anchorage will be given by Pilot station
PILOTAGE: : is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the ports provided by the Uzmar Pilot VHF channels 16, 10 three hours before arrival at the bay. Pilot embarkation place 38 46,8 N 026 54,4 E
TOWAGE: is provided by the Uzmar Pilot round the clock
BERTH: Berthing side north 124 m., draft 13m (max. 50.000dwt). Berthing side south 103.5 m. draft 10m.( max. 7.000 dwt) Apron width 5.60 m

CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENT: Shore crane Grabs/Hoppers and Conveyors For Bulk Urea 15 T. There are two weighbridge of 80 tons.
STORAGE AREA: Grain silos 4x 5.000 ton. Open area 13.500 sq.m. covered area 2.446 sq.m. semi-covered area 8.1132 sq.m. The car park of 1.100 sq.m.
FRESH WATER: available.
BUNKER: available by barge only.
AIRPORT: At Izmir distance apprx.71 km from the port.
WORKING HOURS: operates 24 hours a day year round. (weather permitting)
GARBAGE REMOVAL: service is available by barge.

CUKUROVA PIER – NEMRUT BAY

MAIN ACTIVITY: Private jetty for loading/discharging iron scrap/iron products of Ironworks in the site.

PILOTAGE: : is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the ports provided by the Uzmar Pilot VHF channels 16, 10 three hours before arrival at the bay. Pilot embarkation place 38 46,8 N 026 54,4 E
TOWAGE: is provided by the Uzmar Pilot round the clock
BERTHING: The jetty is well fendered. Mooring is assisted with the aid of lifeboat.
CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENT: Mostly by vessels’ own gear. There are mobile cranes facilities.
CARGO HANDLING RATES: very fast operations, Scrap metal 3.000-5.000 mt/day
FRESH WATER: available at pier and by barge.
BUNKER: available by barge only.
AIRPORT: At Izmir distance apprx. 74 km from the port.
WORKING HOURS: operates 24 hours a day year round,
GARBAGE REMOVAL: service is available by barge.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The vessel must sail within 2 hours of the completion oof the final draft survey, otherwise the ship will be charged with a further day’s port dues.

PORT OF GIRESUN

DESCRIPTION OF THE PORT: Giresun port is situated on the eastern part of Black Sea. The port is protected by two breakwaters (Northern breakwater to be prolonged 220m more) During the periods of high transit traffic, when the ports in Trabzon and Hopa become insufficient; the transit cargoes are handled in the port of Giresun. The most important export item of the port is barite mineral.
ANCHORAGES: Waiting anchorage is Northward of the main breakwater with good holding ground. Anchoring at the entrance is forbidden.
PILOTAGE: Compulsory. Provided by the port administration
TOWAGE: 1 x 750 h.p. Compulsory for all foreign flag vessels.

HANDLING EQUIPMENT : 4 shore cranes of 3 to 10 tons cap. (1×3 T at No.1, 2 x 3 T, 1 x 10 T) 5 Mobile cranes of 5 to 60 tons cap. 8 forklifts of 3 to 10 tons cap.2 tug master – trailer set
RO/RO & CONTAINER FACILITIES: Available on the passenger quay.
BULK CARGO FACILITIES : There is a silo of 15000 tons capacity available. Daily discharge rate; Grain 3.000 tons , fertilizer 1.000 tons, coal 1.000 tons, ore loading rate 1.000 tons.
WORKING HOURS: 24 hrs.
TANKERS MOORNING: 40 55 N, 38 25 30 E there is a tanker berth with mooring buoys for stern discharging refined products. Discharge rate 250 tons/hr.
NOTE : Drugging and additional quays are planning
STORAGE: 54349 sqm open, 2325 sqm covered
FRESH WATER: Available at all berths. Order through agent rate 10 t.p.h. (apprx)
BUNKER: Available by trucks through suppliers.

PORT OF BARTIN

PORT DESCRIPTIONS: The port of Bartin is located on the SW shore of the Black sea in position is 41 41′ 15″N, 32 13’40″E the port limits are between 41 43 58 N, 32 20 24 E and 41 35 06 N ,32 04 30 E, distance 13 km from town.
PILOTAGE AND TUGGING SERVICES: are available from Zonguldak Port. Nearly Port management will provide pilotage and tugging.
MOORING SERVICES: one pilot boat (200 HP) used as mooring boat too.
ANCHORAGES: 41 41 24 N – 32 13 00 E , 41 40 52 N – 32 13 00 E , 41 39 42 N – 32 11 12 E, 41 40 52 N – 32 11 12 E
RESTRICTIONS: Vessels carrying dangerous cargoes, including chemicals carriers and tankers are prohibited.
CARGO HANDLING FACILITIES: Steel products, lime, logs, flour of shore cranes, handling performed by private contractors. Possibility to use ship’s derricks The port has 4 mobile cranes, lifting capacity 90-120 tons.
Height from the sea: 1.60 m.
Loading and Discharging rates;
steel products 2.000 tons /day, bulk cargo 1.500 tons/day and timber 1.000 cu.m./day.
BERTHING: The port has a quay length 480m. on the south side of the harbour for berthing vessels.
WORKING HOURS: 24 hrs.
DEPTH: 7,00 m.(to be dragged up to 8 m.)

FUEL: Available by road tanker.
STORAGE: 2 x1500 sqm, covered area paved 7000 sqm+35000 sqm for light cargoes
